"There is a great amount of nuance and self-defining (and redefining) when it comes to success, as I’ve had to learn time and again." Yes - I'm learning this too.

OMG this question → "When I’m stressed and feel like I need to rest, do I actually need to take action?"

I've been thinking about this so much recently, specifically in the context of my workouts. I'm often decidedly *unexcited* to get moving, and my de-facto response is to take it super easy ... and sometimes, that's great! But other times, what I actually need is to push myself—past that initial inertia/resistance hump, to a level where I can actually access *more* of the energy and motivation that make moving my body muchhh more enjoyable. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It always come back to that discernment muscle!

Discernment muscle!! Yes, that’s totally it. Rest is important, but growing is also important.

Love the ideas list (if it doesn't get done it was just an idea!). Brilliant. I'm doing it! Thanks for writing this.
